Version 0.97.01 is out!

I got the major update I'd been working on released and available for update via the AppStore. However, as is often the case, there were a couple of bugs that I hadn't caught during testing. A user was kind enough to work with me to track down the one that was most significant to them, and in the mean time I'd improved one or two other things. A updated version of the program, with a small number of enhancements but the same basic functionality of the 0.96 release, has been submitted to Apple, and is available via the App Store as of Friday, January 16, 2009. A German user reported to me via email that he wasn't seeing the German translation available in the application however, and I have discovered than many languages were affected. I have discovered the problem, and should have a fix out soon where the translations are all available again.

I need your help! If you are a native speaker of a foreign language, I would love to have your help in translating Diabetes Log into your native language. The current release has the following non-English languages, but some of them are incomplete or not verified to be accurate. If you notice any problems, and are interested in helping, please let me know.

I would also very much enjoy being able to add new languages. If you have the time to help me, please contact me via email to diabeteslog@distal.com.

Credit for this new web design, which was put into place in September 2008 (completed in early November, actually) goes largely to Kris Trader. I contributed to it while we developed it, and did some finish work on it myself, but most of it was done by Kris.

As before, I'm happy to receive email to diabeteslog@distal.com regarding anything you'd like to mention or request, and please visit the support forum available from this web page to read about and post suggestions, bug reports, and anything else we can think of.

Lastly, thanks again for the many positive reviews the application has received on the iTunes AppStore. I very much enjoy reading them when I have time, and I hope that all of the comments and suggestions I've received there have also come to this web page, and been put in the forum. I have many things I intend to put into the application, but with luck I will finish all the things I've thought of at some point, and then I'll be working purely based on suggestions from my user community.
